If you are faced with the choice of a new music installation, there are a few things that you can think about in advance:

Price:

A good music installation is in balance. It makes little sense to purchase large precious speakers and then connect them to an old worn amplifier. The performance will then be far below par. It is wiser to spread the money from that precious speaker over the total installation (with a less expensive speaker), so that a better balance is created and therefore a much better sound. We can let you experience here in the store how good music systems can sound in different price ranges.

Room size:

The size of the room and the place of the speakers play a major role in the final performance of the music system. In short: in a small room (approx. 15 m2) is a small speaker (monitor) in his element. With larger rooms, the size of the speaker can also increase. Then keep in mind that a larger speaker requires a little more from an amplifier. In our store in different listening rooms we can take into account room size and make your appropriate music systems heard.

Stereo or surround?

We can be brief about that. If you listen to music, you will do that on a stereo installation. On a stereo installation you can also listen to the sound of films on TV/Blu-ray or DVD. If you look mostly at films and music is a side issue, we recommend a surround installation. In addition to 6 permanent stereo setups, there are also always 1 surround setup ready in the store.

Which sources do I want to use?

In addition to the old -fashioned CDs and LPs, there is a world of digital possibilities that all fall together under the name 'Streaming Audio'. For example, you can use your own NAS with ripped CDs and other digital music files, or will you want to use a music service such as Tidal, Qobuz or Spotify?
