CH Precision I1 integrated amplifier
De CH Precision I1 is het meest complexe project van Florian Cossy en z'n team. Het is eigenlijk een all-in-one zonder luidsprekers, of zoals CH Precision het zelf noemt: Universal Integrated Amplifier.
Als basis is het een klasse AB ontwerp waarbij alle binnenkomende signalen digitaal gemaakt worden (DXD 24 bit/384kHz). Om daarna z'n weg te vinden via de ingenieuze software, de modulaire opbouw en geavanceerde digitale bewerking. De volumecontrole is ook een hybride ontwerp waarbij een analoge R-2R weerstandsladder wordt bijgestuurd door digitale techniek. Zelfs de (optionele) analoge phonoingang wordt helemaal digitaal gestuurd. Een beetje vreemd? Jazeker, maar het werkt extreem goed. Luisteren naar de I1 is een compleet analoge ervaring. Zo zacht, open, krachtig en soepel hebben we muziek nog nooit ervaren! De I1 stuurt moeiteloos flinke en/of lastige Speakers aan. De enorme trafo met voedingsbuffer maken dat mogelijk. En het ruimt op. Geen stapel spullen meer, maar een fraai, ingetogen vormgegeven ontwerp dat door zo'n modulaire opbouw helemaal klaar is voor de toekomst.
