Advanced streaming architecture

The core of the Madison Streamer is formed by Wattson Audio's proprietary streaming engine, developed internally around a Texas Instruments Sitara processor and refined through years of continuous evolution. This tailor-made platform guarantees uncompromised signal integrity, excellent reliability and seamless support high resolution audio, including native PCM and DSD.

The result is effortless performance, combined with a fluid and intuitive user experience.

Digital precision and clocking

In addition to streaming, the Madison Streamer offers high-quality S/PDIF input with both 75Ω RCA as optical TOSLink connections, intended for older or external digital sources.

The highly accurate clock architecture uses ultra-low phase noise oscillators for both the 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz frequency families. Both are individually filtered to keep jitter and noise to an absolute minimum.

A powerful one SHARC DSP sends Wattson's own upsampling and spline filter algorithms on, optimized for exceptional accuracy in the time domain. The digital-to-analog conversion is provided by two WM8742 DAC chips, one per channel, resulting in superior channel separation, spatial coherence and natural, clean sound reproduction. The musical integrity and emotional depth are fully preserved.
