The Mingus Septet Statement Edition is the final piece in a series in which uncompromising craftsmanship, acoustic perfection and musical insight come together. This performance exceeds the standard version not in volume or bravado, but in subtlety. In a listening room where peace and attention are central, this loudspeaker reveals its true nature: an uncolored, exceptionally refined teller of musical stories.
The Septet Statement Edition shares the architecture of the standard Mingus Septet – a 4-way system with seven advanced drivers – but has been completely revised internally. The application of Jorma Statement internal cabling, in combination with exclusive crossover components (silver foil in oil, copper foil coils, hand-selected resistors), results in an audibly quieter, smoother and more transparent sound image. The music naturally relaxes in the room.
The sound character is immediately recognizable as Marten: fast, precise and natural. But the Statement Edition adds extra layers of control, refinement and holography. The reproduction feels less like a reproduction, and more like a direct musical presence. What remains is silence – both in the dynamic peace and in the mind.
A loudspeaker of this caliber requires suitable electronics and a careful environment. That is why the Mingus Septet Statement Edition is not ready to play in our store. We are happy to discuss serious listening interests personally.
